NO GI CLASSES
Suitable for beginners to advanced.
Students will learn to throw, fall safely, defend, attack, control, submit and escape. Our sports focus is wrestling and submission grappling with practical applications for self defence. Students train in No Gi without a kimono and are asked to wear a rash guard or tight fitting comfortable t-shirt and either a pair of training shorts or their Gi pants. Women often wear tights or lycra pants.
First timers should book for these classes prior to attending our gi classes.


GI CLASSES

Suitable for beginners to advanced.
Students train in a lightweight kimono style uniform called a Gi (g-ee). Students will learn to throw, fall safely, defend, attack, control, submit and escape. Our focus is modern jiu jitsu with practical applications for competition style grappling, fitness, technique, leverage and control. 

COMPETITION TRAINING
Suitable for intermediate to advanced and is open to members only.
This class is available to attend for students graded three stripes and above. Our aim during usual weekly classes is to prepare you for entry to this demanding 90 minute class. This Friday night class is focused on students and athletes that wish to contribute to the competition preparation of themselves or other members. The goal of this class is to prepare students both physically and mentally to be ready to compete and perform at the best of their potential. This class is demanding both physically and mentally.
It is not a requirement to compete to attend.
Burgers on Bridge Rd with the team weekly as a celebration for making it through.
